VHNA Proposal for Springfield High School Expansion

Yes friends, it’s that time of year when everyone is trying to get into your pocket, and VHNA is no exception. But we ask for very little ($10 annual dues) and hope our membership base will continue to grow so we can cover our costs for another year. We have a handy-dandy membership form on page 5 to make renewing your membership fun and easy, but wait, there’s more. For a limited time only (until we decide it’s over) we are having a brand new promotion called “Member-Get-A-Member”. If you recruit a new VHNA member, and they put your name down as recruiter, your name will be entered in a drawing for a $25.00 Cash Prize to be drawn some time in the Summer of 2008. That’s it, so get out there and recruit!

December Meeting Speaker: Dr. Walter Milton, Superintendent of Springfield School District 186
November 2008 VHNA Point of Pride

1026 S. Henrietta
The precision of obvious care, evident in the home pictured above, grabbed my attention last Sunday like a fireworks display on the Fourth of July. There is more attention per square inch in this home on the east side of serene Henrietta Street than you’ll find on the 18th hole at Panther Creek Golf Course. The results are obvious without going overboard: nicely maintained flowers on either side of the steps, a whistle-clean front porch graced by greenery in the hanging baskets, and hardly a leaf on the finely trimmed lawn. The trellis on the left side is a nice touch as well.
A home does not have to be a historic mansion to merit the attention and care clearly invested here. Consider what the lucky owner of this fine home has done, and be inspired to invest more care in your home. Perfection and pride are not something you go out and buy. They come from your heart and hands, crafted with your loving attention.
If you know a house or business you feel should be featured as a VHNA Point of Pride, contact editor Job Conger by calling 544-6122.
